Brands Hatch race weekend

To start the race meeting we had a paid practice session on the friday to ensure us that the car was running as smooth as it could, it also gave us the opportunity to scrub tyres in for the weekend which was much needed so we could have maximum grip straight away.

The saturday consisted of a qualifying session and one race, the qualifying session was heavily disrupted due to constant red flags and a constantly evolving track. We ended up in p12 out of 24 drivers, we were happy about this as this was Louis' first ever time going solo in his car. The first race did not go as planned, on the first lap there was a incident that ended in Louis not being able to finish the race.

The Sunday only consisted of one race, Louis would start p16 for this race. Once again the session was heavily disrupted by red flags and safety cars, He finished his race in p16 however he gained lots of practice of race starts and safety car restarts which was ideal as he had never done these.

Overall it was a valuable experience.
